COVID Precautions

USA Gymnastics will follow all state and local guidelines as it relates to COVID-19 restrictions.  In addition, the USA Gymnastics medical team is continually monitoring protocols and in doing so, may go above and beyond any of the state and local guidelines.  Protocols may include countermeasures before, during and after the event to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

Listed below are the current protocols that will be implemented for the health and safety of all participants.   Protocols are subject to change at any time and will be continually shared with attendees both prior to and during the event.

  • Facial coverings must be worn at all times by all participants.
  • 6′ social distancing standards will be implemented in all public gathering places such as, lecture rooms, registration area and exhibit hall.
  • 30-minute break between each lecture to allow for sanitizing of lecture rooms.
  • Lecture rooms will be set according to the proper social distancing guidelines.   As a result, certain lectures may encounter capacity limits.

We also ask that any attendees who may feel unwell or who have been in close contact with a person diagnosed with Covid-19 to please not attend the event.

Further, there will be strict enforcement of all protocols.  Individuals who are unable or unwilling to comply with the implemented safety measures are asked to please refrain from attending the event.

And remember, there is no way to completely eliminate the risk of COVID-19 transmission.   Each attendee must assess their own personal safety when making the decision to attend a live in-person event.
